I'm going to be at work for our 12 hour milestone, so you're getting the update now.

GOLDEN AGE PARROTS will wrap up at 11 PM EST on Thursday, October 24th. (tonight). 

We are about $40 away from our free sticker sheet for all backers. Let's see if we get there - I've been on the fence about adding a black color variant. 


Remember: this is our only chance to unlock stretch goals! While preorders and surveys are going to (probably, hopefully) add to our total, that won't count towards anything new.

If you want free stickers, color morphs 3 (with the pied/pearl cockatiel, white budgie, military macaw, etc.) or the 1.5" pins not pre-unlocked... toss those few on-the-fence pins onto your order, and share with your bird family. 

I will probably not out-of-pocket most items that aren't unlocked. At least, not immediately, and definitely not at campaign prices for you guys.

Just a quick check in. In about an hour and a half, we'll be at exactly one day left to back GOLDEN AGE PARROTS.

A cancellation just brought us below $8k, but, while I was at work today, you guys unlocked the buncho finch. Nice!

The pigeon was also originally in this tier, but his moxie and charisma bailed him out early. Still, you got him, in spirit.


Remember: there's about to be only 24 hours left to unlock any other goals you want.

Jonesing for those free sticker sheets? Really want a 1.5" that wasn't pre-unlocked? It's a good time to share GOLDEN AGE PARROTS with friends or family who might want something special of their favorite bird.

On the fence about backing? It's OK to wait until preorders, but remember, preorder sales do not contribute to stretch goals. Once we're done, we're done - even if we make up for lost time from items ordered after the fact, the final options are set once the funding period is over.

Good evening, bird gang. Hopefully we're a little more coherent today.

We are down to the wire, with just shy of three days left on GOLDEN AGE PARROTS.

We're at a decent $7.3k, which means COLOR MORPHS 2 is now available!


Our most realistic funding goals are $8500 free sticker sheets for everyone, and $9999's big 1.5" goal.

I don't expect us to get too far from here, but, let's see what we can do! If you haven't shared GAP with your bird friends and family yet, do me a favor, and send them the campaign.

Not including the 1" face pins or gunbirds, here's what's available at 48 hours: not too shabby!


Each of these 2" designs is also available as a vinyl sticker.

1.5" GUNBIRD pins, 1" face mini pins, 4" sticker sheets, plus super-snazzy holo GUNBIRD 2" stickers are up as addons, too!

As mentioned above, we might, realistically, hit our final color morph stretch goal and the rest of our 1.5" pins. Let's see!

So, ignoring all that: what's next?

We are currently exploring an alternate factory for the 2" pins. Many of you might have unfortunately seen the issues with BIRD CRIMES' screenprints, as well as attachment posts on some pins. I am expecting this to be a one-off, but, I would like to explore some other factories for back up production.

I have been put in contact with another company that will do lower MOQs for color alt pins. Does this mean anything to you? No. But it does to me. And, it means I can prioritize stock that will move a little faster, while offering some nice niche options, too.

Starting on Thursday, two things will happen. One, I will send certain potentially-problematic designs out for sampling - this is a little ahead of our schedule, to avoid the mess that happened with BIRD CRIMES. And, two, our pre-order store will open.

Pre-orders will be available starting then, until the end of the survey period. This means people who didn't get to back GOLDEN AGE PARROTS can pick up any of the unlocked stuff at campaign prices. Pre-order store buyers' items will ship with the rest of the campaign rewards. If you're waiting until you know something you want is available, preorders might be up your alley!

We are scheduled to send surveys out on November 5th. They'll close on November 20th, and the preorder store will go down either then, or shortly after.

Full disclosure, again, I am going to be going thru the chaos of a move through this part of production. I'd like to stick as close to these dates as I can, but things may move back or forward depending on what's possible. Backerkit is gonna be a little hard when my computer is in a box.

I'll be working on our last custom pin set + survey and production assets behind the scenes in the meantime. Let's check in tomorrow!

Dropping in very briefly for our four day countdown.

I'm going to try and be brief, but I won't be able to do a thorough update today. A family emergency came up last night and I am out of town. We lost a bird despite literally all efforts possible from everyone involved. There isn't a lot I can do at this time.

I'll be home Monday and do what I can. If you are the last remaining custom backer (hi, yes, you), I hope to have some sketches for you tomorrow or Tuesday night.

Crows, blue jays, and all 1" pins are now available at the end of the campaign. The $6.9k cockatoos, too. Some 1.5" small pins are also ready regardless of funding. 

If none of the pins are your thing, we now have sticker only tiers as well.

Plus, remember: returning backers from BIRD CRIMES get a free GUNBIRD.
